All of the information will be collected directly from the user, when filling in the registration fields in the website, mentoring network.

We do not sell or otherwise disclose personal data we collect about you, except as described in this Privacy Policy or as we disclosed to you at the time the personal data is collected. However, your name, surname and profile picture will be seen by your chosen mentor. In mentor case, all students will see your name and surname.

WITH WHOM WILL WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We might share personal information with:

  • third parties we use to help us run our project, e.g. website hosts, third parties related to mentoring.

We only allow our service providers to handle your personal data if we are satisfied they take appropriate measures to protect your personal data. We also impose contractual obligations on service providers relating to ensure they can only use your personal data to provide services to us and to you for the project-based purposes. We may also share personal information with external auditors, e.g. in relation to accreditation and the audit of the project.

WHERE IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA HELD?
Personal data may be held at our offices and those of our third-party agencies, service providers, representatives and agents as described above. Also, all of the personal data and progress during the project will be held in safe data base.

FOR HOW LONG DO WE RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We will keep your personal data as long as we share information with you and as long as we are providing services to you. Thereafter, we will keep your personal data for as long as is necessary:

  • to respond to any questions, complaints or claims made by you or on your behalf.
  • to show that we treated you fairly.
  • to keep records required by agency.

We will not retain your personal data for longer than necessary for the purposes set out in MENNET project.

We have appropriate security measures to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed unlawfully. We limit access to your personal information to those who have a genuine business need to access it. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorized manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.

This Privacy Policy was last updated in November 2020. We reserve the right to update and change this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect any changes to the way in which we process your personal data or changing legal requirements. In case of any such changes, we will post the changed Privacy Policy on our platform. The changes will take effect as soon as they are posted on the platform.
